A note about the years since 2019

Looking at the dates on this site, there’s a gap after 2019. I didn’t leave technology. I kept working, but I wrote much less about it here.

I became a father in 2019. Family life needed more of my time and attention. I didn’t make a decision to stop writing; the site just went quiet.

I can still share useful lessons and explain how some of the technology works; other details belong with the teams involved and won’t be covered here.

I’m writing again now to update older articles and share new things I’ve learned. When I write about earlier work, I’ll say so plainly. These are articles written now, looking back; I’m not trying to make it seem as if I wrote something every year.
